Our NGO’s work is important because it empowers women, supports child development, ensures public health, and promotes sustainable livelihoods for marginalized communities.

S.S.V. Seva Samsthe, established in 2000 in Ranibennur, Haveri district, Karnataka, is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering communities through women and child development initiatives. The organization focuses on tailoring and Mahila Shakti Yojana training to promote women’s livelihood opportunities, while also supporting income generation activities. It ensures public health by conducting regular 24/7 drinking water quality checks through home visits. To support holistic child development, it organizes yoga classes for students and summer camps for children. Regular Self-Help Group (SHG) meetings are conducted to strengthen collective action and social awareness among women.

The NGO has conducted 24/7 drinking water quality checks by visiting individual households across Ranebennur.
